About Yvonne Marie

For Yvonne Marie, the library was a second home and a safe haven. She loved being surrounded by books because she knew that each day somewhere on those shelves she would find a new story she could escape into.

For years she dreamed up love stories in her head but was too tired and overwhelmed by the pace of life to write them down. But then she was diagnosed with autism and ADHD and it was like being handed a map to understanding herself. She quickly gave up trying to function in ways that rendered her burnt out and embraced her lifelong special interest in romance novels.

Now she works from her home where there are stacks of books in every corner. She blogs about neurodivergence in popular literature and writes diverse romance novels with neurodivergent characters who overcome the debilitating obstacles the world throws at them to experience pleasure, adventure, and a sexy good happy ending.
